Starting in 2023, this ongoing body of work examines the man-made ruins left on the American landscape, both by the forces of nature and the shifting tides of our socio-political climate. American Wasteland is a visual inquiry into the marks we leave behind, the spaces we vacate, and the stories that linger in their absence. It is an exploration of the idea of what remains after a period of change, and what those remains say about us.
